The X-540 speakers produce a uniform soundfield anywhere in the room. Immerse yourself using the selectable matrix mode, which automatically creates 5.1 surround sound from common 2-channel stereo sources. The compact satellites are wall-mountable, and a special clip lets you place the center channel speaker on top of most flat-panel monitors to reduce desktop clutter. Use the control center to for volume and bass levels.

If I set up the speakers to go with a TV and put the speakers in the back. Will I get all natural sound in time with the TV or will it sound like the TV is dubbed and get lag
Hi Doron, take a look at the blue box at the very top of the description for this product “you can NOT connect this system directly into your TV”, it has to be plugged into a games console, DVD player etc. So it won’t work via direct plugin to your TV anyway.
But if you do go with it via another piece of hardware then I don’t see any reason why it would lag, I’ve not read any complaints or reports of this happening.
Hiya, i am interested in buying this speaker system but do not know much about electronics. I have a samsung tv and dvd player. Is this speaker system compatible with my products. thanks
hi will this product connect to a v+ box and a playstation tanks
@Claire as it says at the top of the description this system won’t connect directly to your TV, but you should be able to connect it to your DVD player (provided you don’t have a TV/DVD built-in combo). So when watching normal television you won’t get the sound out of the speakers, but you would when watching your DVDs.
@Stephen it comes with a ‘Game console adapter’ so should connect fine to your playstation. I’m not sure about your V+ box, even on the official Logitech website it doesn’t say the connectivity specs. With this system being so low-cost it may be worth buying to see and if it doesn’t send it back. It gets very good reviews so may be worth a shot.
Hi! Does it give a good bass thumpety-thump!? I have a Panasonic DVD ‘home cinema’ unit ( WMA/MP3/jpeg compatible) through which I also play recorded stuff from my separate table-top digi-box. Does the X-540 just plug into the audio output sockets? Looks great if I get the same sound without a mile of wires around the lounge! -Tim-
Hi Tim. I believe it will connect via a 3.5mm for your system, but it may also connect via a phono to phono. According to lots of reviews the bass is very good for the money
Remember this is still a wired system as normal and apparently the front wires are a bit short so may not be able to put them exactly where you want them.
How many and what type of inputs does it have? Will it take optical and HDMI?
