Can you please tell me if this system will play standard music cd’s?
Yes it will play standard CDs, and also standard DVDs. So it is great that it is blu-ray with the ability to play other media types.
Is it possible to play a turntable through this system?
I think so but I’m not definite. If you check the official Samsung website it lists the connectivity for this system, then you can check to see if your turntable has the appropriate connectivity. Here is the link with all the info: samsung.com (scroll down half way to where it says ‘Connectivity’). I am pretty sure it should connect as the system has ’1x Audio Inputs’ and ’2x Optical Inputs’.
Are the speakers with this system fully wireless, and if not are there any other Samsung theatre systems with a blu-ray player that you know of that does comes with fully wireless speakers ?
No Alex this system is not wireless. It is a normal home cinema system. The rear speakers can be made wireless using the SWA4000 kit, however they still need to be plugged into the mains so it isn’t fully wireless. I’m afraid no fully wireless systems are currently made by manufacturers (http://www.aspecttv.co.uk/truly-wireless-surround-sound-system-please/555/)
